Eight of us had a wonderful stay at the O'Neil House. It's such a beautiful historic home-- I felt like I was in a fancy castle. The owner (grand daughter of Gayle I think) is a kind, helpful, welcoming host with great stories to tell. She even drove us to an excellent restaurant and stayed to eat with us-- a real pleasure. I highly recommend a stay here and I hope to be back sometime.
This wonderful Tudor style guesthouse was a very enjoyable experience. I was in the Akron area on a pilgrimage to various AA sites around the city. The room I had stayed in offered much reflection and ability to grasp where I truly was and how much I had endured to get to this point. I had driven 8 hours from Greenwich in Connecticut. Mercy/I (is that how you spell it) was an excellent host along with their other family-co workers to make this experience all the more inclusive. Inclusive because they had informed me of the accepting nature of the city of Akron and I was able to experience things that more comfortably. Thank you so much!
My husband and I stayed here on a whim for our anniversary, and it was delightful! The house is stunning, the host was very accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I would love to come back and stay in a different room just to see a new part of the house! 10/10, definitely recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here! We stayed in the Master Suite. The suite is absolutely beautiful and clean & the furniture & bed were very comfortable as well. The house is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed talking to Gayle and Mercy, they are very friendly and accommodating. Everything was wonderful including the coffee and breakfast each morning. We had an amazing time and we will be back! Thank you Gayle and Mercy so much for such a wonderful experience!
My daughter and I went to Akron for the Stan Hewitt Deck the Halls Christmas event and stayed at the O'Neil House. The residence was decorated for the holidays and was magical. I enjoyed everything about our stay. It is a special place ran by a special lady. Thank you!
Very beautiful and well maintained house. Very spacious and emaculatly maintained. The landscaping is fantastic and the service and friendliness is unbeatable. Breakfast was delicious and different for both days we are there. The bed and breakfast was quiet and safe, but also close to everything. Thank you for a great stay.
